- Microsoft Sells 1 Million Xbox One Consoles on Launch Day

Microsoft says that the launch of the Xbox One this past Friday has been the most successful launch of all the Xbox family. In less than 24 hours after launch Microsoft had sold over 1 million gaming consoles. Which is roughly equal to the number of PlayStation 4's sold which had been released a week earlier. While these numbers may sound big, these sales shouldn't come as a big surprise, knowing that its been several years since the companies updated there hardware.  According to Microsoft more than 60 million zombies have been killed in Dead Rising 3, and more than 3.6 million miles have been driven in "Forza Motorsport 5."

So far the Xbox has been received pretty well by the critics, they took notice of the graphics as well as the non-gaming features. Including the ability to access live television (in some countries) and integration with Skype.
