Apple has just released an unlocked GSM version of the iPhone 5s on its online store in the United States. Pricing starts at $649 for the 16GB model and works its way up by a 100 bucks each capacity after that. Now for this phone to work you will need your own sim card, the Apple store will not provide you with one. The phone will only work on GSM carriers, such as AT&T and T-Mobile. Although expensive, this may be an option worth looking into for anyone who travels a lot.
